I have been teaching at Ridgeview since 2004 and this is my 27th year overall in education. I have taught and/or coached at the elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. I love helping our students find enjoyment in being active while learning to be physically, socially, and mentally strong citizens.
I have a B.S. in Physical Education and Health, a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration, and an Ed. Specialist Degree in Administrative Leadership. Additionally, I am a licensed K-12 Principal and have served as the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Minnetonka High School for 19 years winning 2 State AA Championships (2013, 2018) and 5 Section Championships during my career. My interests outside of teaching and coaching include running, weight training, playing the drums, completing home projects, reading, and watching hockey and soccer. My wife Sara and I have been married for 21 years and we have a son named Cooper (who attended Ridgeview from K-5th grade) and will be attending Boston University studying biomedical engineering. We also have a very large, but gentle German Shepard named Tucker.
