HOSA is a club for students who are interested in health and medical careers. We do fun and educational activities like learning CPR, joining competitions, and volunteering in our community. HOSA also helps us build leadership skills and prepare for future jobs in healthcare. If you're thinking about becoming a doctor, nurse, therapist, or anything in the medical field, this is the club for you!

Step 1: Fill Out the Interest Form
Get the form from our HOSA advisor or scan the QR code on our posters to sign up online.
Step 2: Pay the Membership Fee
Turn in your club dues ($35) to cover national HOSA registration and materials. We'll let you know the exact amount and deadline.
Step 3: Attend the First Meeting
Come to our first club meeting to meet the team, learn about upcoming events, and ask questions!
Step 4: Stay Active
Join meetings, help with events, and sign up for competitions or volunteer opportunities. You don’t need experience—just bring your interest in health and helping others!
Step 5: Get Involved!
Represent our school, build your resume, and have fun while exploring health careers.
2. Who can join the HOSA club?
Any student interested in healthcare, medicine, science, or helping others can join, no experience needed!
3. Do I have to want to be a doctor or nurse to join?
Nope! HOSA is for anyone interested in any health-related career, like physical therapy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, mental health, and more.
4. What do we do in HOSA?
We do hands-on activities, compete in health-related events, volunteer, learn new skills (like CPR), and build leadership and teamwork.
5. Are there competitions?
Yes! HOSA has local, state, and even international competitions in events like medical spelling, first aid, biomedical debate, health science knowledge, and more.
6. Is there a fee to join?
Yes, there’s a membership fee ($35). It helps cover national HOSA registration and club materials.
7. How often does the club meet?
We usually meet once or twice a month after school. Meeting dates will be shared on our group chat or flyers.
8. Can I still join if I have a busy schedule?
Yes! We try to keep things flexible. You can choose how involved you want to be and what events or activities to join.
9. Does HOSA look good on college or job applications?
Definitely. HOSA shows leadership, teamwork, career interest, and community service, all things that colleges and jobs love.
10. How do I join?
Fill out our interest form, pay the fee, and come to our first meeting! You can also ask our club advisor or officers if you have questions.
