When are senior pictures due?
Pictures are due to the yearbook advisor by the end of the day on Friday, November 6. We cannot guarantee images submitted after that date will be included in the yearbook. The student's Lifetouch ID picture will be used if no picture is submitted, or they will be listed as not pictured.
What format should the digital file be?
Only .jpeg files will be accepted. Full resolution files are required (digital file size: 300 dpi or higher, at least 4x5 inches). Screen shots will not work nor will photos that have been edited on a cell phone. The quality is too low. We also cannot accept watermarked images. Do NOT edit photos with cell phone apps.
How do I submit my picture?
Visit: SENIOR PICTURE SUBMISSION FORM to submit your photo via Google Form. Pictures will not be accepted through email.
Can the yearbook staff scan my print photo?
No, digital files must be submitted.
How do I know if I submitted my photo?
Check the list below (starting in the fall). This list is updated weekly. We will also post a list by the office hallway the week of deadline. You can also contact your professional photographer and ask if they submitted the photo and received confirmation.
Do I have to use a professional photographer?
No. Anyone with a high quality camera can take your picture. There is a remarkable difference in quality with a professional photographer, however. Newer cell phone cameras should have adequate quality, but be aware of the format and size of those photos and do not edit the photos using a cell phone app. They often shrink the size too much..
What other requirements are there?
head and shoulders only, VERTICAL shot
Be sure to leave enough space around your head to allow for the yearbook staff to feature you at your best within the yearbook’s design.
Only the graduating senior may be in the photograph: no pets, props, or additional people.
