We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization made up of Parent Volunteers and Staff .

2020-21 yearbook

Yearbook preorder deadline has passed. *Note: some students will receive yearbooks that were paid for and donated by members of the Rahn community. Thank you to those that donated!

We will have a limited number of yearbooks for sale beginning May 10th. Yearbooks will be $20.

Free school meals will continue! Eagle Ridge Middle School and Nicollet Middle School will be distributing meals on Wednesdays for students in Virtual Academy and Hybrid students for the remainder of the school year. Click below for more info.

2019/2020 Teacher/staff appreciation week recap:

This years' Staff Appreciation Week proved to be a bit more challenging to find ways to treat and thank Rahn staff. Here's the recap of what happened during the week of May 4th-8th, but remember you can continue to show your appreciation all year long!

All Rahn staff members were gifted with a $25 Amazon gift card from our PTO.

The PTO created a video, with the help of Mrs. C-Smith, to show our appreciation for all the work our Rahn staff does. Thank you to the parents that contributed messages for staff! This video can be viewed by clicking the PTO Thank you video button below.

Mrs. C-Smith created a video using messages from students to thank teachers and staff. Thank you to the students that helped make this video so special!


2019-2020 rahn yearbook:

If you preordered a yearbook, your child will receive it with their bag from their classroom teacher on Thursday, May 28th.

Some students may receive yearbooks that were paid for and donated by other Rahn families and staff members.

If you would still like to order a yearbook, we do have a limited number available to sell. Each yearbook is $20. Contact the office at (952) 707-3600 if you wish to make arrangements for a yearbook order.

Brainpower in a backpack update:

This year's Bowls for BrainPower will be an Online Silent Auction May 14 - 23, 2020. You can look at and bid on their items by clicking HERE .

There will be a Best of Show Silent Auction featuring Tim Hammes original pottery pieces, as well as, a special experience to learn the pottery wheel from BHS Art Teacher, Robyn Kegley and other pottery experts.

Funds raised will support District #191's hunger relief program, BrainPower in a BackPack, which currently serves over 800 students PreK through High School.

COLLECT POP TABS FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

The Rahn Service Club is sending home Ronald McDonald House pop tab collection containers. Recycled beverage tabs help support your local Ronald McDonald House program, a home-away-from-home for the families of seriously ill children being treated in nearby hospitals. Save your tabs and we will collect them throughout the school year.

At this time, our school nights at McDonald's are canceled until further notice. McDonald's Drive Thru continues to be open. Don't forget your child may have coupons from a previous school night that could be used at this time, if needed.

One91 Boundary changes: Updates

Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District #191 recently voted to close 3 schools: Metcalf Middle School, Sioux Trail Elementary and Marion W Savage Elementary. In the coming months the district will work on restructuring the boundaries, buildings, busing and staffing, etc. We welcome parents to find out more information and to be part of the process.

Listening sessions are hosted by members of the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 Board of Education at 5:45 pm before regularly scheduled board meetings during the school year.

VOLUNTEERING

We are always so appreciative of the volunteers we have in our Rahn community. Due to budget cuts, another process has been incorporated. If you are interested in being a volunteer for a classroom, dance, field trip, etc., please complete the background check application here.

There is a $7.00 fee to complete this application.
