About our Program
Cross Country is a fall sport available to all students in grades K- 12. It is a NO CUT sport and everyone who is on the team WILL get to participate. Cross Country is a sport that develops good work habits and discipline. Running is a tough sport - both physically and mentally. The coaches will help athletes develop this toughness which helps them not only on the race course, but in school and other aspects of life. Many of our athletes are honor roll students at school and leaders in the surrounding community.
The program boasts highly qualified and experienced coaches who are willing to work with all ranges of abilities. Over the past years, the program has sent both teams and individuals to the state tournament with the girls winning in 2007, and the boys finishing 3rd in 2009, 4th in 2010 and 2nd in 2011. We begin every year with the goal of being one of the top teams in the state. We have also helped people who want to get in shape for another sport, and have helped people simply learn to live a healthier life style. All ranges of ability are welcome.
Feel free to contact any of the coaches with questions. We are looking forward to another fun and exciting season and another trip to the STATE MEET!
