Cook County Social Justice Conference

Grades 6-12


The Cook County Social Justice Conference will improve both social cohesion and the freedom of individuals to interact in Cook County Schools without fear of prejudice or discrimination. Cook County students will participate in workshops and sessions organized by student leaders, community experts and Cook County teachers. Workshops will address topics including (but not limited to) race, identity, culture, gender, privilege and justice. The conference will provide a safe space for students to engage in critical conversations and cultivate a sense of community.
