I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2007 with a 5-12 Communication Arts and Literature degree. I earned my Master's in Literacy from Hamline University in 2014 and a Reading License in 2015.

During the first part of my teaching career I taught mostly 9th grade English. After graduating with my Master's and earning my reading license I transitioned to teaching reading. It is truly my passion and calling to assist students in increasing their literacy skills and fostering a love of reading!

In addition to being a teacher, I am a wife and mother to 2 beautiful girls! In my free time I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, gardening and spending time with my family!
