Mr. Smith

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am the 9th grade School Counselor. I am starting my 16th year as a school counselor and my 7th year at Chaska HS. 

My wife, Trista, is a Reading and Math interventionist in the ECCS district as well. She is starting her 18th year. My daughter, Emery is 10. She will be starting 5th grade this fall at Carver Elementary. She is super social, energetic, and LOVES creating her own art projects. She says when she gets older she wants to either be an engineer (currently she refers to herself as a “paper engineer”), teacher, or professional tennis player. She hasn’t made up her mind yet. My son, Madden, is 8 years old and also is very energetic. He loves riding his bike, not listening to his parents, and going to the playground.  He is starting 3rd grade at Carver Elementary.
