At CPS we strive to help our students become creative thinkers and problem solvers!
The Arts Program at CPS teaches students all about materials, techniques, and idea generation! Through a series of hands-on projects and activities students will learn to think creatively and problem solve.
Each class will build on skills and techniques from the previous year to help students develop skills and craft. Students will have a safe space to create and express themselves through art and design!
Meet the Art Teacher!
Hello! My name is Ashley Williams and I am the Middle and High School Art Teacher at Central Public Schools. I am originally from Minnetonka, MN and I currently live in Glencoe, MN. I received a Bachelors in Studio Art from St. Cloud State University as well as a Bachelors of Science In Art Education. I love all types of art, but my heart and specialty is in Ceramics! I look forward to getting to know my students at CPS as well as building a strong art program for our district!
