Traffic & Road Works Update

From March 2019 to the fall of 2020, there will be significant road works on the Beneluxbaan, which will impact how ISA community members are able to access the campus. Please read below for the latest information and updates on the traffic and construction projects. This page will be periodically updated during the project, so be sure to read the ISA Weekly Update to know when new updates are online.

Please note that we do our best to keep the information on this site as updated as possible, as a service to our families, however it is not an official website for the Amstelveenlijn project. There may be delays in receiving information on changes with traffic and road works planning, therefore the website may not offer real-time updates. For official information please visit the Amstelveenlijn website.

It is possible to follow the progress live via the webcam:

Due to a small issue with ground construction, the crossing at Beneluxbaan is closed. As a result, ISA cannot be reached from the direction of Amstelveen-Zuid or Groenelaan by car.

The exit to Sportlaan and ISA on the Beneluxbaan coming from Amsterdam will stay open but there is only one lane available.

To get to Amsterdam when leaving ISA you can turn right at the traffic lights and on Beneluxbaan make a U-turn at the first traffic lights. Pedestrians can still cross Beneluxbaan at the construction site, represented by the green arrow in the map below.

The work is expected to be finished by next Wednesday.
