2020-2022
Traffic is on the current A9. A section is being excavated on the south side in order to be able to construct the bypass in the future. The bypass will be at the same height as the current A9.
A temporary noise barrier in the form of sea containers will be erected along the Oude Dorp.
2022-2024
Traffic runs over the bypass and a small part over the southern part of the current A9, on 2 x 3 lanes. On the north side, work can start with the construction of the northern sunken barge.
2024-2026
The northern sunken barge is ready and traffic can pass through it on 2 x 3 narrowed lanes. Ramp 5 in the direction of Schiphol/Haarlem is also already in the bin.Work starts with the construction of the southern sunken basin.
2025-2026
Traffic drives through the sunken location on 2 x 4 lanes and on and exit 5. The roof is being realized and the sunken location is further completed.
2026-2027
The municipality of Amstelveen is constructing a park on the roof.
