The Lower Primary students enjoyed their author visit today by Mr. Petr Horacek.  

He told us some funny stories about writing his books and showed us pictures of his cottage in the Czech Republic.  He also us how to draw many animals like birds, bears and penguins! 

Petr read us some of his books like... 'The Greedy Goat', 'Blue Penguin' , 'A Best Friend for Bear', 'The Perfect Present'

When it was book week on monday we had an author visit , the author who visited the upper primary was Emily Gravett who told us how to draw different types of dogs and also told us why and how she became an illustrator and an author . It was so much fun Meeting her .

Our very first face-to-face author visit was held last 19th January 2023. It was an amazing experience to finally have all the primary students gathered in the gym. 

Ms. Louw was awesome! She did a very engaging and interactive storytelling to primary students. She read her newly published book, The Wonderberry. 

Ms. Louw is a passionate South African teacher living, working and creating in Hong Kong. She is particularly interested in social-emotional learning and she hopes that, through her books, she can extend her scope of influence beyond her classroom and provide fellow teachers and parents tools to explore this fundamental topic.
