KIS Library promotes a love of reading and encouraging students to become lifelong learners, readers and problem-solvers. With a collection of over 25,000 books, our library allows each reader to find their perfect match that would inspire a lifelong love and interest of reading. Providing an extensive collection of Mandarin, Spanish and Korean books.

Our newly designed and renovated library was built during the summer of 2017. With the support and motivation from the School Board and IS Principal Mr. Chadwick and combined with the unity, passion and hard work of staffs and students, we have built an amazing library. 

Library Info

Korean International School library aim to support the students and staff in seeking a quality information and reading material. As our reading collections grows every year, the more we can cater for students’ needs and interests according to their different age groups. Each primary class has a scheduled borrowing time during the week. Secondary students are able to borrow when they have the need and opportunity.


Opening Hours

Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm

Friday 8:00am-3:30pm

Rules of Borrowing

A maximum of 3 books are allowed to be borrowed by each students. Students who have overdue library resources are unable to borrow until they have cleared their accounts.

Lost resources will be billed and sent to students and parents. The book replacement cost is non-refundable if the lost resource is found after a month when payment has been made. Students may choose to keep the resource or donate it back to library.
