Study in the UK

UK has a centralised university application system. The UCAS platform lists all courses available in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is also serves as an application portal. All applications to UK higher education institutions are submitted via UCAS. The process is clear and straight forward. The online application includes a personal statement, a teacher reference, and predicted grades. Students are allowed to choose a maximum of 5 course, and the application deadline is either October 15 (for Oxford, Cambridge, medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses) and 15 January for the large majority of courses.

In 2021 EU applicants to UK universities will have to pay international student fees when studying in the UK (including Scotland). If you’re thinking of starting a course in the UK from August 2021 onwards, you will need check with the university you are applying to for more information about fees they will charge.
