Abertay is committed to widening access to university and supporting students from all backgrounds. We offer various access courses, preparation programmes and entry routes, both in-house and in partnership with local colleges. Bright Ideas, one of Abertay's outreach programmes, takes pupils aged 14-15 years old on a creative learning journey. Pupils work with Abertay students to learn about the subjects offered at university, and take inspiration from these subjects to create animation, comic and game prototypes.
Abertay University is the top university in Europe for Game Design (Princeton Review) and offers a range of degree programmes covering Games Programming, Arts, Design and Production. Abertay is also home to the world's first Ethical Hacking degree programme. What are your interests and passions in life?
Bard College Berlin is committed to working on the issue of access to education. We do this in a number of ways: through blended learning courses (a mix of online and in-classroom participation); through Bard Network classes that take place simultaneously, for instance in Berlin and Palestine; by offering scholarships for students from crisis regions, as well as for students who are the first in their families to attend university. Our participation in the Open Society University Network (https://osun.bard.edu/) will continue to expand these opportunities and increase access in the years to come.

Bocconi is currently involved in two innovative areas: sustainability and AI. As per the first one, the new Bocconi Urban Campus was designed according to biocompatibility and eco-sustainability criteria, the first of its kind in Italy. Its design follows innovative principles focused on safety, maximum exploitation of sunlight, reduction of noise pollution and waste prevention. We have also started a campaign to eliminate plastic on campus. Regarding AI, Bocconi has just launched a new BSc program in Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence, adapting its competence in Social Sciences to a world in which the digital transformation and AI are becoming crucial. What do you know about Switzerland?
Franklin University Switzerland has a growing passion for sustainability. Over the past 5 years, more students have expressed interest majors with a sustainability focus, and our academics have been growing to match the interest. We've also partnered with a local university on sustainability week initiatives between the two campuses, including community service projects and speakers. One exciting initiative that we celebrated the launch of in Summer 2018, was the installation of solar panels on two of our residential buildings. In working with AIL, the leading utility company in Lugano, we were selected as one of the first buildings to move towards alternate energy resources in Ticino, as part of Switzerland's Energy Strategy 2050. We are happy to be a leader in implementing eco-friendly options, and are also using this as an opportunity to further educate students about energy conservation. One of the more unique core requirements for all students, is our signature Academic Travel program, in which students register for semester long courses that incorporate a 2 week long faculty led travel to locations around the world. These courses are designed to increase opportunities for experiential learning, in all disciplines, based on the expertise of the individual professor. What courses are you currently interested in studying at university?
Sustainability and Food waste! We have been heavily involved in reducing food waste and have recently launched the sustainable hospitality challenge. Our students are always finding creative ways in which hospitality companies can be more sustainable through innovative thinking. We also host the Genio summit in which this year 15 of the worlds best hospitality business management schools came to our Amsterdam challenge to tackle the issue of sustainability in business.

What are you passionate about?
Amongst other things, IE University has dedicated its efforts in categories related to diversity, with an increase in female students especially in STEM or STEM-related areas and cultural representation on both of our campuses. We also posted extremely well in the corporate social responsibility category, moving up five spots to 4th place worldwide. These elements speak to our core values and are driven by technology and innovation in order to constantly evolve as an institution to stay right at the cutting-edge to meet the challenges in the new world of work.

Have you ever heard of the phrase "All the roads lead to Rome?"
Student clubs and organizations, faculty, and staff, are all collaborating to build a greener campus and increase environmental awareness. A major step towards a plastic free campus, for instance, was reducing plastic usage by distributing aluminum water bottles to all members of the community. The initiative was promoted by the Grassroots club, a Student organization regularly organizing environmentally friendly activities, including neighborhoods and parks cleanups. Numerous are the courses offered at JCU focusing on environmental issues, such as Ecocinema, Media and the Environment, and Environmental Economics.

Langara is a public post-secondary college recognized as one of Canada’s top university transfer institutions. The voluntary social year (FSJ) is a year of enagement for society and for your own personal development. It allows you to try your hand in a work environment, consider what you want your future to be like, try out new things and meet a lot of other people. The FSJ Kultur and FSJ politik are two formats with a specific focus on either enagement in the field of culture or in the field of politics. A basic level of german is important, but places of engagement (Einsatzstellen) may benefit from your strong english skills and other strengths, so langauge is not always essential.
What would you like to study?
We have invested in new laboratories and facilities for human health related degrees. We also give all our students an opportunity to obtain work experience even before they complete their studies.

Sustainability in general, sustainable tourism, overtourism, sustainable food operations, climate change (through research), we also have our own sustainability committee though which students, faculty and staff can engage - in making sure their/the university's impact on the world is as minimal as possible

Describe your ideal city.
Temple University is an R1 research institution and our labs have discovered a breakthrough to finding the cure for HIV. We may be able to start clinical trials with human patients within the year!

What is your motivation to study general medicine? What do you expect from studying medicine and working as a medical doctor?
Emphasis on high quality and safety of patient care accompanied by high level of academic and professional integrity of our students, staff and alumni. Our faculty actively supports students in their involvement in charity projects and projects improving health state of population.
Charles University is the oldest Central-European University. It was founded by the Roman Emperor and Czech King Charles IV in 1348. The Third Faculty of Medicine is one of the five medical faculties of the Charles University. In the academic year 1991/1992 the Faculty introduced a medical curriculum in English language for international students, as a parallel to the curriculum in Czech language. Both are fully comparable with international standards.
The clinical basis of the Third Faculty of Medicine is predominantly the Faculty Hospital of Královské Vinohrady in Prague 10.

With the 'Zero Hunger Lab' Tilburg University is dedicating efforts to achieve zero hunger in the world. The Zero Hunger Lab is a research project that aims to achieve global food security with data science. The Zero Hunger Lab works with aid organizations that help to deliver relief aid, with rebuilding, or to provide support to farmers, businesses and governments locally.

That is what the Zero Hunger Lab is conducting research in. Firstly, more efficient and effective emergency food aid is needed. Eventually, this will be the solution to achieve zero hunger as agreed in the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In this project, Tilburg University is collaborating with the United Nations World Food Programme.

Do you want to develop your full potential in an international and interdisciplinary environment?
Each year, the city of Groningen and UCG co-host one or two 'international human rights defenders': human rights activists persecuted in their home countries, who are brought to Groningen as guests of the city and UCG. Shelter City supports the human rights by giving the guests a temporary home in Groningen and access to university and city resources, and time develop the energy, skills, and knowledge needed to return home countries newly empowered in their human rights mission.
The Shelter City Project provides temporary shelter for human rights defenders who are endangered in their own country. In collaboration with NGO Justice & Peace and the municipality of Groningen, UCG provides shelter for 2 human rights defenders every year.

What are currently your main interests when it comes to considering a future field of study?
Recently we have been focusing a lot on the issue of sustainability, by participating in projects in the province of Zeeland, by launching the Green Office that aims to make the campus greener, and by allowing students to focus on sustainability in their curriculum. For example, we are starting a new Engineering department in Fall 2020. For example, students can take a project course each semester, that will focus on various topics like the energy transition. Of course, there is also a lot of other research being done, such as using VR games to aid the ageing population.
We have recently launched a platform where they can chat to current students about their experiences. They can also read blog posts written by our students.
What course are you looking for?

We have The THINK Series which allows for discussion on a number of different topics. The next being Too Many Humans? Should We Stop Having Kids? This series allows everyone to discuss different social issues with stake holders in those areas.

We are taking great efforts into becoming an environmentally conscious University. Changing the attitudes of individuals as well as of the community has been emphasized more than ever before, and we can deliver easily quantifiable results concerning environmentally aware transportation, building management, infrastructural development and waste management. One of the considerable steps for progress in this topic was that the University of Pécs has decided not to buy mineral water in disposable plastic PET bottles, but we installed so-called water-islands instead at 70 locations at our institution. According to GreenMetric World University Ranking the University of Pécs (UP) placed 100th among 780 entries on the list of environmentally conscious universities in the world.
