READING

Context: write words in sentences. This will help them understand the definition other than memorizing.

Quiz: create quizzes for students to practice or have them make a quiz.
Word Maps: draw a circle around the word and have students think of similar words that have the same meaning and write them out beside it.
Pictures: create illustrations that describe the word.
Songs/Acronyms: create lyrics that rhyme or give clues to the meaning of words.
