Nearpod is used to make any lesson interactive in the classroom or virtual. A teacher can create interactive presentations that can help students collaborate with each other. Teachers also create Quizzes, Polls, Videos, Ticket-Out-The-Door, open-ended questions, videos, and more.
The tool can help teachers see what their students know individually and as a class. It is extremely recommended for virtual learning. Students are able to type in a code and complete a Nearpod session live or on their own. It engages the students through drawings, questioning, and real-life pictures.
I use this tool to introduce a lesson and during a lesson. I poll the students over what they know, make google slides to go in Nearpod, and engage students through math word problems by allowing them to draw, take pictures of their whiteboard, and/or explain their thinking.
This tool reaches all students learning styles. It provides many opportunities for the teacher to differentiate, conduct HOTs questioning, intergrade cross-curriculum, and group/partner work. Students are also able to gather each other's ideas and work at their own pace

This is a game that can only be played live. It challenges the students to compete against each other. This game has trivia and review games. The way it works is that a teacher/host picks a question set and a unique game mode. Then, the game generates a code that players can use to join the game on their own devices. After the game starts, players will answer questions to help them win.
Blooket is great to use for 10 minutes of fluency a day. I use this for multiplication and division fluency. It is also a great resource for virtual students to play with each other live. Students can play live well on google meets; therefore, students are able to interact with each other.
I use sets that are created and I also make my own sets. Students use these questions to play their game for fluency, review questions, or brain break.
Students can use this tool to seek immediate feedback via correct or incorrect answers. students use the tool to demonstrate their learning, what they know and do not know through the different types of game modes and question sets. Also, students and teacher can track their progress over the course of the year.

Students join a game; they compete against each other to complete their tasks.
Teachers can use sets that are created for the classroom or teachers can make their own sets. Students use these questions to play their game.
Collect the data from the classes.
Gimkit is an app-based digital quiz gaming platform that can be used by students to learn. This tool is basically like Blooket. However, Gimkit does not have to be played live. Teachers can use this tool to have students compete against each other, make fluency sets, review for testing, and collect data at the end of each game.
In the classroom or at home, Gimkit can be assigned as homework or an assignment. Teachers can make assignments from their existing kits, set a due date, set game goals for students, and let the students play. Students work by reaching a cash or time goal.
I use Gimkit 90% of the time for multiplication or division fluency. I also use it for brain breaks and review.
Gimkit uses multiple choice questions, much like kahoot and blooket. Students have to answer correctly to make money. With the money they make, they can spend it on power-ups and upgrades to make them the dominant player in the class. Students can work in partners or get different codes based on their needs for their review or fluency skills.
Students are working individually to beat others in their class.
Students engaged and talking to each other. Students really enjoy this tool.
Students answer questions to get points, tokens, or money.
Flocabulary is a learning program for all grades and subjects. This program uses educational music to engage students and increase achievement across the curriculum. It provides many activities that engage students in learning math words and connect those words to the real-world.
In the classroom and virtual, it is great for students to have a variety of activities to keep them engaged in learning. It is easy for the teacher to grade these activities as well; I use Flocabulary as a daily grade. This especially helps students track their grades during virtual.
I use Flocabulary to introduce a lesson. Students are aware of their vocabulary words for each standard and how they relate to math. These activities can be done as independent work, in stations, or in centers while teachers connect with students one-on-one or in small groups to reteach, provide differentiation, or enrich students.
Students are able to watch a video, complete vocabulary cards, have video engagement through a game, read, take a quiz, and conduct a lyric lab. The students are engaged and learning the meaning of words and steps to take in solving math problems.

Edpuzzle is a teaching tool used to place interactive content into pre-existing videos from a variety of sources. These sources include TED or YouTube, or place content into videos you have made. Teachers can create their own videos and questions for their students.
For virtual students, this is perfect. Whether it's inside the classroom or at home, students learn from other teachers or their teacher through videos and images. It is just like they are watching and listening to their teacher in the classroom. Students are then able to assess their thinking through questioning.
I use this as a daily grade tool, partner work, or individual self-assessment. As a teacher, I can see what my students know or what they may need to work on. Edpuzzle provides instant feedback to the teacher and the student. This is very helpful.
Edpuzzle provides opportunities for auditory learners and visual learners. Teachers can also give students different videos based on their ability levels. This is a great remediation or acceleration tool. Students are also able to work at their own pace.
