Google Slides is an online presentation app that allows you to create and format you create presentations in a slideshow format . Work can be easily shared with others who can view or edit depending on access. You can add, edit, or format text, images, or videos in a presentation.

In class slides are used to share information with students or to create assignments in which each student can input information into their document whether they are writing text, answering questions, or completing a chart, etc.
