Irwin County Middle / High School Media Center
We hope students find the library as a central location for both middle and high school students to explore their love for reading, undergo continuous learning, and find a place that encourages imagination and creativity. Our goal is to provide material that helps our readers determine what genres they find interesting while helping them increase their connection within themselves, the world around them, and insight into the viewpoint of others. What better way to be inspired than by getting lost in a book?
"We lose ourselves in books...we find ourselves there too."

- Policies and procedures have been discussed with students. We expect all students to respect our library and our books. Please be aware the media center serves students 6th-12th grade. Some material or situations found in our inventory may not be appropriate for all ages. Middle school students are not allowed to check out "HS Only" books without permission of parent(s) or guardian(s). It is recommended that parents discuss any limitations or expectations with their child regardless of their age. If further information is required, please do not hesitate to contact us with your concerns.
- Any fines acquired during the school year must be paid before report cards are given out to students. "Late fees" are waived once the student returns their book. However, if book is not returned by the 9 week mark, the book is considered lost and students must pay the amount to replace the material.
