Welcome to Art! 

Hello! My name is Jessica Benson. I am proud to be an Irwin County Indian! My family and I have lived in Ocilla for a little over 4 years now, but we have been visiting family here for more than 20 years. I am married to my wonderful husband, Allen and together we have 2 daughters (Janee and Riley), 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and 1 very large fish. 

This will be my 17th year teaching but my 3rd year at ICES. I absolutely love it here! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education, a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Specialist in Special Education. I also added ART to my field last year.  I am so excited to teach art this year. Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I especially love painting and I love to show my art pieces to my students. They are always anticipating new arrivals.
