  • Brain Pop Jr. offers digital educational content for children in kindergarten through third grade. With over 250 topics, it gently encourages young learners to ask questions and form their own ideas.

  • Brain Pop Jr. can be accessed through the school. Brain Pop Jr. assists young learners with videos, quizzes, etc. about many different topics.

  • Because of it's many educational, short learning videos, I use this website often to enhance our lessons in class.

  • Brain Pop Jr. allows the teacher to select videos to meet the Georgia Standards

of Excellence in a fun way.

🔨Tool #2 Jamboard


  • Jamboard is a digital interactive whiteboard developed by Google to work with Google Workspace.

  • Jamboards are created by the teacher to enhance learning.

  • Jamboards can be created to work with a lesson. It is used digitally to enhance learning by allowing the student to select the answer.

  • Jamboards are a fun way to implement technology into a lesson. In my class, we use this often to create meaningful lessons.

🔨Tool #3 Boom Cards


  • Boom Cards is an online platform created for teachers to allow for instruction using cards, without the need for a classroom. The idea is to let students practice basic skills, such as letters and numbers, with a visually stimulating experience via any accessible device.

  • Students can use boom cards in class or virtually.

  • We use boom cards for a variety of lessons. The activities are colorful and fun for the students to use.

  • We select boom cards in our classroom that align with the Georgia Standards of Excellence.

🔨Tool #4 Google Slides


  • Google Slides is an online presentation tool that lets you create and format presentations.

  • A Google Slides presentation can be used in a class or shared virtually to view.

  • Google Slides are a great way to share information with students. Google slides can share pictures or cartoons to promote learning.

  • We use Google Slides often to prevent material in my class. It is a great way to learn sight words and addition/subtraction facts.

  • By using this tool in my class, the students can learn material in an effective way. The students enjoy the colorful images the teacher chooses to meet the standards.

  • Epic is the world's leading online children's subscription book service offering immediate, on-demand access to over 40,000 high-quality illustrated books and chapter books for children ages 12 and under.

  • We use Get Epic for a variety of read alouds within our class. Get Epic can be used at home as well.

  • We use Get Epic for our Reading Curriculum to meet the kindergarten standards.

  • Fiction and nonfiction books are available on Get Epic that assists in meeting the needs of the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
