Hello! I am Claire Stone, the 7th grade social studies teacher!

I have been an Irwin Indian and "Ocillian" since birth, graduating from ICHS in 2010. I attended Valdosta State University to study Mathematics before switching to Middle Grades Education.
In 2015, I returned home and started teaching at ICMS.

I love traveling, studying the people and cultures in our world, and history. Because of this, I absolutely LOVE teaching social studies to students to give them insight to the world outside of our little town. I currently teach all students in the 7th grade about the geography, cultures, history, government, and economics of Asian and African countries.
