Ms. Davis began directing in Del Rio, TX where she worked at Del Rio middle school and the 6th grade campus as head director and assistant at the high school. After receiving the first UIL sweepstakes in Del Rio MS choir history she took the head director position at Huntsville High School. At Huntsville she received regular UIL sweepstakes, had members of the TMEA Texas All-State Choir, and took groups of 1st division solos and ensembles to the UIL Texas State Solo & Ensemble contest in Austin. They also received 1st place in the Texas Renaissance Faire madrigal contest and had many students members in the chapter of Texas Future Music Educators she sponsored.
At MacArthur High School the program has grown to receiving multiple sweepstakes a year, All-State choir members, and members of the ACDA national choir. The A Cappella Treble Choir was invited to perform at the 2024 SWACDA conference. The first convention performance for MacArthur HS since 1975.
Ms. Davis is a member of TMEA, TCDA, ACDA, and TMAA.

Clinton Blanco began his education career in Taiwan, where he taught for 3 years and had the honor of starting the first student choir on campus. He returned to the States to direct choir at Yuma High School in Yuma, Arizona. While there, he began the first Women’s Chorus and brought a return of the school’s musical traditions. Nine years ago, he joined Irving ISD, and six years ago he joined Ms. Davis as the Associate Director for MacArthur High School.
Mr. Blanco holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Music Education from Texas Woman's University. He holds professional affiliations with Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), Texas Music Adjudicators Associations (TMAA), Texas Choral Directors Association (TCDA), and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).
During his free time, Mr. Blanco enjoys performing with Turtle Creek Chorale as well as several churches in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.

Sarah Becker is proud to serve as the accompanist for the MacArthur Cluster of choral programs in Irving ISD. Sarah received her BA in Music from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and her Master of Music degree in Musical Instrument Research from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She performed as part of “Spoken Spaces, Sonic Traces” in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014. Sarah was employed as the accompanist for the vocal programs at Mountain View College from 2017-2019. She has played the piano in the orchestras for university productions of Chess and Children of Eden. Over the last several years, she has accompanied vocal and band students for UIL Solo and Ensemble across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Sarah was the accompanist for the TMEA Region 20 6th grade Region Honor Choir in 2019. She is also currently the organist for Ridglea Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas
