Here are some potential data points to consider, when advocating for your program:

• Number of students on campus

• Number of students on case load

• Number of guidance lessons provided

• Number of groups and number of students served in groups (topics)

• Number of suicide risk assessments completed

• Number of threat assessments on campus currently

• Number of students currently referred to intervention counselor (plus number on waiting list)

• Number of CPI restraints

• Number of students identified as ‘at risk’ by 14 state criteria

• Number of students served as Tier 2 for SEL/Behavior Tier 3 for SEL/Behavior

Achievement:

• Students failing required standardized tests

• Students whose standardized test scores are ‘on the bubble’

• Number of students served as Tier 2 for Academics; Tier 3 for Academics

• Number of students identified and served by Special Education

• Number of students identified and supported under 504 plans

• Number of students identified as G/T

Attendance:

• Number of absences by students

• Students referred to counselor for attendance concerns

• Students identified with truancy, tardy concerns

Discipline:

• Total disciplinary referrals

• Disciplinary referrals by offense type and level

• Students with one official discipline referral

• Students with more than one official discipline referral

• Students referred for in-school suspension

• Students referred for out-of school suspension

• Students referred to MTSS/ RtI for S/E/B

• Students referred to school counselor for discipline concerns

• Number of instances of emergency response (classroom crisis for Administration/ Counselor assistance)
