PIP Practice is a Team Effort

​IRS co-founder Denise O'Brien is Practice Manager, an Approved Intermediary with respect to applications for Debt Relief Notices ("DRNs"), and usually a debtor's first point of contact.

Denise is a graduate of the Insolvency Service of Ireland's approved course of study in Personal Insolvency Practice from City Colleges Dublin, and a qualified Life and Business Coach. Denise was appointed a Peace Commissioner by the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform for the County of Waterford and adjoining counties.

Denise O'Brien is authorised by the Insolvency Service of Ireland as an Approved Intermediary.

Denise will assist a debtor identify and compile the documentation required in the Personal Insolvency process. This will include:

  1. Three months payslips
  2. Last year's P60, or self-assessment tax return if you are self-employed
  3. Six months statements on your active bank accounts
  4. Statements or demand letters for each of the debts that you owe
  5. A list of your assets and your best estimate of their values, i.e. your home, your car, etc.
  6. A copy of your driving license and/or passport

​Once everything is together, Denise will allocate the task of assisting you complete your Prescribed Financial Statement ("PFS") to one of our case managers.

The PFS

A debtor's journey towards solvency starts with their Prescribed Financial Statement ("PFS"). This is a cumbersome document to prepare, but its accuracy and completeness are necessary to ensure a timely and successful outcome.
