I love teaching! I have been in education since 2000. Every year I am thrilled to be a part of the learning and discovery that happens in the classroom.

Students in fifth grade will learn many important concepts. Students will write narratives, informative essays, and opinion essays. Students will also learn to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Students will model mathematical thinking and solve real-world type problems.

Students will also learn about Earth's features, make discoveries about ecosystems, and look for conservation solutions.
