About Me

Hi! My name is Angel Gibbs and I am truly excited to be the preschool teacher for Viburnum Elementary. After graduating from our very own Viburnum High School, I pursued higher education through Mineral Area College and through Central Methodist University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhool Education. This is my fifteenth year teaching kindergarten and preschool children. My husband, Deron, and I have 3 children, Leah, Anna, and Clara. We love spending time outdoors on our farm in Dillard where we enjoy our cows, chickens, and various other animals that call our farm home. I enjoy gardening, hiking, reading, and baking, but my true passion is teaching children. There is nothing more rewarding and fulfilling as witnessing my students' learning and development through their creativity, play, and through their interactions with both their peers and teachers. My goal is to assist my students, in their early educational years, to fall in love with learning and generate an excitement for exploring and creating.
