A NOTE TO OUR PARENTS:

     Since you are the most important part of your child’s education, we encourage you to be involved every day to ensure your student’s success. 7th grade is a transitional year and many students struggle with organization, time management and prioritizing.  To help support your child, you can:

  * check their agenda every night and their Google Classrooms 

  * check the Team Parent Square Message sent out weekly by our

      team with homework and updates 

  * check your child’s grades frequently on Schooltools

        (contact Guidance to get set up with a Parent account)

  * call/email teachers with any questions you have

A NOTE TO OUR STUDENTS:

     We’d like to welcome you to 7th grade by letting you know that we are really excited to help you grow and meet your goals this year.  We hope that you will find your subjects interesting; we know you will find them challenging.

     As 7th graders, you are expected to be organized in your studies and responsible  in your behavior in hopes of setting high standards for all students at IRMS.  Please get in the habit of writing all your assignments and responsibilities in your Agenda.  Take your agenda and your homework folder home with you every night.

     We meet daily as a team of teachers to to develop interesting learning experiences for you, and/or discuss the needs of individual students.  We are available to help you 7th period, as well as WIN times. (Coordinate with your teachers ahead of time!!) 

     This is the time to get missed work if you have been absent because you are still responsible for the work.  7th graders are still held accountable for missed classwork and homework so using those times during the day are important!  See you soon!
