Important Information
Homework Policy- Our team has reviewed these policies with all students. Extenuating circumstances will be handled on an individual basis.
Late Assignments- 10 points off
*Our team requests that if you are going away on an extended vacation that you give us at least 3 days notice to prepare work for your child.
Expectations- Our team expects each student to be prepared for class. This includes arriving on time, with necessary materials and with a positive attitude.
Planners- Planners were handed out at the beginning of the year and to each new student when they arrive. Students are expected to have them in class to write down assignments and future events. Planners are checked everyday at the end of the day, so students can be successful with their homework assignments.
Backpack, Bags, and Coats- Students are allowed to carry backpacks or bags around with them throughout the school day. Students are able to use lockers at this time. Coats and jackets are not to be worn throughout the school day per school policy.
Electronics- Cellular phones are not permitted in the classroom. Electronic games are at the teachers' discretion. If a student's phone is seen or heard it will be confiscated and taken to the office.
Offenses are:
1st time- device is confiscated and will be returned at the end of the day
2nd time- device is confiscated and returned to student following three school days, or parent may pick the device up personally
3rd time- Parent must pick up
Band/Orchestra Lessons- Any student who participates in Band or Orchestra will miss class due to lessons. However it is the responsibility of the student to check in with their classroom teacher for work, and homework assignments that they may have missed during their lessons.

Snacks- Healthy reasonable snacks are welcomed into the classroom. Snack will be allowed during Reading Class. Please refrain from snacks with peanuts and pineapple due to severe allergies.
