-Pencils, Scrap Paper and Erasers
-Headphones/Earbuds
No matter what we do in class, Math always involves showing some work on paper. Even if we are using computers, you will need to have a pencil for working out some problems before you can enter an answer. Most of our Math work will not be able to be done in your head without showing some work.Â
We will be using several computer-based learning programs this year and students will need to have headphones/earbuds for class at least once every week. If you want to leave a set in the classroom, put them in a plastic bag with your name on them so that nobody else will use them. Ear buds are cheap and easy to store but if you prefer larger headphones, I have the space to store either and will gladly do so. (If you are using these programs at home, you need to be able to hear them. If you choose not to use headphones, please make sure there is as little background noise as possible.)
