Ms. Hesse's Kindergarten

I am excited to begin a new school year even with all of it's challenges. Of all grades, I believe there is the most growth, from September to June, in Kindergarten. I love experiencing that day to day growth with students! Your child will become a reader, a writer, and mathematician before your very eyes. Each day they will feel loved, valued, and respected.

Kindergarteners will be encouraged to "stretch their brain" by trying new things, showing grit, and taking risks. My goal is to instill a love of learning in each of my students along with helping them become responsible, confident, life long learners. It's going to be a great year! Thank you for sharing your child with me!

About me

I'm Lisa Hesse one of the Kindergarten teachers at Calcium Primary. 21 years ago I was a "PTO mom" at Calcium. When my youngest daughter went to Kindergarten, I began to substitute teach in this building, and for the past 9 years have been proud to teach alongside this great Kindergarten Team!

I'm the proud mom of four former Calcium Primary students all grown with careers of their own. Brennan is a photographer, Dylan a mechanical engineer, Erin is a 1LT in the 82nd Airborne, and Ryan is a recent Syracuse grad currently awaiting her start date for a job in Tennessee.
