My name is Katie Salter and I teach First Grade at Antwerp Primary. I absolutely love teaching, it is my passion. I am very excited to be working with you and your child. First Grade is a time of great growth, of making friends, and of learning lots of new things each and every day. Our days and weeks will be filled with many wonderful experiences and opportunities for successful learning and positive growth.

I currently reside in Fowler, NY with my three sons, Colton, Grady, Luca and wonderful husband, Justin. I also have a step-daughter, Alaynna Kate. Our organized busy home has two new puppies (Olive and Oakley), a lazy cat named Blaze, and a tricky kitty named Trixie.
I have taught Kindergarten for 11 years and First Grade for 9 years. I absolutely LOVE it!!!!! This will be my 19th year of teaching and even though we will have many changes from past years, we are in this together!!
I am a dedicated and loving teacher who truly enjoys teaching First Grade. I know it takes a whole community to teach and raise a child, so I am here to give your child a positive and fun learning experience at school. I look forward to working with the new Firsties' students and parents!
