My name is Mrs. Lehman. I started my teaching career in 2003 after completing my degree in Inclusive Elementary Education at Cazenovia College. I grew up in the North Country and love the area. I am grateful that I have the opportunity to teach in such a wonderful community. My adventures in education began when I started teaching Special Education and have taught in various educational settings over 11 years. I then decided to try a new journey as a 6th grade Math teacher, which I truly enjoy.
As a teacher, I try to maintain a predictable, yet engaging setting. You will be learning some challenging content, and we move at a fairly quick pace. There isn't (much) time for nonsense in my classroom, but I specialize in cringy jokes. You've been warned! All jokes aside, you will learn lots this year, guaranteed. If you pay attention, participate, do your best work consistently, you WILL improve your math abilities.
A little about me... My husband and I have three dogs, and three cats. We love going to Florida to visit a certain mouse whenever we can. I love planting flowers and watching them grow. I dislike cooking. The TV doesn't get used a lot at my house, but there are a few shows I regularly watch. I enjoy spending time with my parents and siblings. We spend a lot of time at our off-grid cabin in the woods, hiking, fishing, four-wheeling, and just relaxing.
