I hail from the countryside between Redwood and Hammond. My parents, Patricia and Colin taught me the value of an honest day's work. We gardened and we canned. My playmates were my three sisters, Mandy, Sarah, Aaron and our pets. My imagination was my best friend. I am a graduate of Alexandria Central School, SUNY Jefferson, (Liberal Arts and Human Services) and SUNY Potsdam, (N-6 Elementary Education/Sociology, as well as a Master's in K-12 Reading). I am married to Mike and have two daughters, Kaitlyn and Sierra. We also have two dogs and two cats. I enjoy reading, skiing, kayaking, camping, coaching soccer and spending time with my family.
