I have taught for the Indian River District for 34 years. I started at Evans Mills Primary school, where I taught at the kindergarten, first, and second grade levels. I am currently a fourth grade teacher at IRIS. My husband, Steve, is an Indian River graduate. His hobby is restoring classic cars and he's working on a 1959 El Camino. We have a daughter, Nikki. She is also an Indian River graduate and is a social worker in Buffalo. My son, Luke, graduated from Indian River High School and he is a college student at MVCC in Utica. I love to kayak, ski, bike, walk and READ!! Our family loves animals. At "press time", we have 2 golden retrievers, a cockatiel, and a flock of chickens. I truly enjoy working for this district. I have participated in many workshops and days of training. I am so excited to work with my fourth graders this year!! Five4 days a week! Yayyyy!!!
