A Google Classroom, Class of 2025 has been set up for student use. An email has been sent to all seniors to invite them to this google classroom. The code is ihebrbv to join. Once you have joined Class of 2025 you will receive notifications each time a new scholarship is posted.
We encourage seniors to check the google classroom often so they do not miss out on any scholarship opportunities especially if they have not subscribed to receive notifications via e-mail.
Scholarships arrive throughout the year. The Student Services Office does not know if parents are members of fire departments, clubs, etc. so it is the senior's responsibility to pick up an application from the Student Services Office or print an application from Google Classroom that they may qualify for. Students must complete applications and return them to Student Services or mail them to the address given on the application. Students should keep in mind that some scholarships have particular guidelines/instructions in compiling their applications and may disqualify students for not following them accordingly.
The decisions of who will be awarded scholarships are made by the agencies and groups who sponsor the scholarship. Many of the organizations participate in our Senior Awards Night. Our office may not know the names of all the winners. Therefore, we are not able to send out letters notifying seniors that they will be receiving an award. We hope that all seniors will attend Senior Award Night to support friends and classmates. Many award presenters travel long distances and take time out of their busy schedule to be here to present an award. It is important that the senior be here to receive it.
