Welcome to the 7/8 Grade Band website!
7/8 Band is a place where you can sharpen your skills with a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument!
We work together with the whole band and in small lesson groups where you will get to play popular and classical music for large and small ensembles. Additionally there are many opportunities to work on your own solo projects!
We learn together to create the best sounds that we can by focusing on the three P's of band: performance, professionalism, and preparedness. The band is like a team in the sense that you will learn to rely on those around you to help you to sound your best and that practice will lead the way to a better product!
We have a lot of fun together in 7/8 band with student directors, trivia, new music, listening examples, and an easy and relaxed environment that anyone is welcome to enjoy!
