WHAT TO PREPARE
PART 1 - MUSIC Audition
MONDAY, August 18th
For your music audition, you will be expected to:
1. Record a video singing 30 sec to 1 minute of a song of your choosing that best fits the style of the show. (See instructions below)
2. Submit your audition registration and upload your music video on the google form no later than Monday, August 18th by 11:59PM.
PART 2 - DANCE Audition
TUESDAY, August 19th from 2:30-5pm in the DPAC
All actors must attend the dance call, which will be held on the DPAC stage and taught by Brian Coelho. You will dance in both large and small groups. Please wear appropriate athletic clothing
PART 3 - CALLBACKS
WEDNESDAY, August 20th 2:30-5pm in the DPAC
(invited participants only, notified via email)
VOCAL SELECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Actors must record a vocal excerpt from a song of their choosing that best fits the style of the show. The version of Godspell that we will performing is more of the pop/ rock genre of music so please choose something that aligns with this style while also showing off your abilities! Godspell the 2012 revival are linked here for inspiration!
All videos should include a backing track of some kind. This can be a karaoke track from youtube, live accompaniment, ect. We really want to see what you can come up with!
If you would like to be considered for a role not listed or for the ensemble (with no solo singing), please indicate this on your audition form. However, you are still required to submit a singing audition.
