The Waubonsie Valley Theatre program is proud to empower students through creativity and collaboration. With a commitment to excellence, we strive to ignite passion for the performing arts, foster self-expression, empathy, and lifelong learning. We aim to inspire our students to discover their unique talents, build confidence, and embrace the transformative power of the stage.
Important Dates for the 2026-2027 Theatre Season
Friday, August 21st 2:30-4:00-Drama Club Welcome Social & Theatre Audition Workshop (auditorium)- All welcome to attend (Freshman-Seniors)--come learn about our season! All show titles will be announced and audiiton information covered.
Monday, August 24th: Freshmen Play Auditions (Room 205)
Tuesday, September 8th & Wednesday, September 9th: Fall Play Auditions
Monday, September 14th: Variety Show Auditions
Saturday, September 19th at 1:00 p.m.: Freshmen Play Performance
Thursday, September 24th: Variety Show
Thursday, October 29th & Friday, October 30th @7:00p.m.
Monday, November 16th: Winter Showcase Auditions
Thursday, February 4th- Friday, February 5th: Winter Showcase Performances
Spring Musical Audition Dates: TBA
Thursday, April 29th, Friday, April 30th , Saturday, May 1st: Spring Musical Performances
Drama Club End-of-the-Year Celebration/ Thespian Induction TBA (tentative date- Monday, May 10th)
