May 18 | Senior Finals periods 1 - 4
May 19 | Senior Finals periods 5 - 8
May 19 | Senior Sunset 7:00-8:30 PM at WV Soccer Fields! Bring a chair or blanket.
May 19 | Senior Checkout - return books, chromebook, chargers, and cases to LMC
May 20 | Senior Brunch 9:30 - 12 pm @ Two Brothers Roundhouse (limited spots available)
May 20 | Senior Farewell Ceremony - 7 pm WVHS Auditorium - Seniors arrive by 6:30 pm (wear gown but no cap)
May 21 | Mandatory Graduation Practice arrive by 7:45 am | begin at 8:00 am.
May 24 |Graduation - NIU Convocation Center - 2 pm - graduates arrive at 1:00 pm
Graduation Ceremony is about 1.5 hours
Given that graduates must turn in their rental gowns immediately following the graduation ceremony, graduates and their families are encouraged to take pictures with their friends and family before graduation.

You should notice a new icon that has appeared on your Chromebook shelf (see above). Clicking this icon will initiate the Google Transfer process. This will allow you to transfer all of the files in your IPSD Google Drive to a personal account. You must ensure that your personal account has enough space to accomodate your IPSD files. You may need to open a new personal Google account, pay for more storage on your account, or delete unnecessary files from your IPSD drive if you don't have enough storage. You should initiate this process before you turn in your Chromebook. The district will delete all of your files on June 30, 2026. You may also click this link to access a document with more information on the Google Transfer process.
Graduation Day
Sunday, May 24th - 2:00 pm
NIU Convocation Center - Dekalb, IL
Graduates Arrive by 1:00 pm
Doors open at 1:00 pm
Guests can park in Lot C1 and C2
Graduates will reunite with their families outside the convocation center immediately following the ceremony.
NIU has implemented a clear bag policy to provide a safer environment to the public and to expedite guest entry into the Convocation Center.
Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag into the venue
Bags that are clear plastic or vinyl and do not exceed 12”x12”x6”.
One-Gallon clear plastic freezer bag
Small clutch bag/purse no larger than 5.5”x8.5”x3”
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection of the bag.
