Recorder Karate is a big hit in 3rd grade. Students learn the recorder to help learn how to read music notation. Students reinforce rhythmic skills while learning how to read the notes on the Treble Clef. Students play different songs to earn their belts which they can showcase on their recorders. Students keep track in class through playing assessments and playing for each other.
