1. School Appropriateness
This is a school club, and you are in school. Behavior, subject matter, language, jokes, volume, etc., should be appropriate for a school environment.
2. Respect for the Room
Don’t write on tables, disrupt materials, make a mess with food, leave garbage behind, or treat the room like a playground. Clean up after yourself, and leave the room in the state that it was in before you played.
3. Friendliness
Greet and learn the names of fellow club members. Say hello to Mr. Naughton at every meeting. Introduce yourself and invite new members to play with you. Be willing to teach & explain how to play your game, share materials when you can, or encourage new members to watch & learn if they can’t jump into whatever you're playing.
4. Social Etiquette
This club is for casual play and social interaction in the spirit of fun. Being a sore loser, a poor winner, mean-spirited, playing in a way that’s unfair or not cool, being offensive, rude, or annoying to others… all of this might result in people just not wanting to play with you. Participation is not a guarantee. Remember, it's a game.
5. Academic Excellence
In order to play at our meetings, you must be passing all of your classes. Tabletop gaming can take a lot of time and dedication. If you are not passing a class, then that time should be spent bringing up your grades. Extra help will be provided for those who desire it.
