SCHEDULING

The Patterson LMC is using a hybrid schedule - meaning some classes may have fixed times that they check out books and have story time or lessons while others have flexibility for scheduling lessons and using library passes to visit at the teacher's discretion. 

BOOK CHECK OUT

Students can have 2 books checked out at a given time.  The check out period is for 2 weeks. Overdue notices will be given out by the LMC staff to students to be taken home and remind of overdue items.

LOST / DAMAGED ITEMS

This is the official statement regarding lost or damaged from the District Office: 

If your student’s item has been damaged or not returned to the LMC after 90 calendar days, a fine will be assessed.  The fine will be applied to your Push Coin account for the replacement cost of the item. The LMC is a hub for learning and exploration through reading and other literacy and STEAM activities. We want students to enjoy visiting the LMC and find it a fun, safe, and welcoming environment!

Students should follow the Patterson Positive Pillars while in the LMC. Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful.

Students should have a purpose in mind when they visit (examples: book checkout, independent reading, makerspace, research, group work, etc.)

Students should keep the LMC books and materials safe.

Students should seek help when needed and report any lost or damaged items.
