Coaching staff

Varsity - Erich Mendoza

Welcome players and parents. I've been teaching science and coaching volleyball at Neuqua for the past 22 years, the last 14 of which I've been the varsity coach. I've been teaching science and coaching volleyball for a total of 25 years. I originally got into volleyball by playing at Downers Grove South High School before boy's volleyball became an IHSA sport. I then played club volleyball at DePaul University. My wife Sara and I have 2 boys, Owen and Emerson. We have 2 dogs as well. We live in Naperville in district 203. I'm looking forward to another great season. Go Wildcats!

I am a physical education/health teacher at Crone Middle School.  I have been coaching boys high school volleyball for 12 years.  I have been the JV coach for the past 8 years at Neuqua.  I also coached girls volleyball at Crone for 10 years and boys high school club for 4 years.  I played high school volleyball for Lyons Township for four years and was a part of a team that placed 4th in state.  My wife and I have two boys, Declan and Jax.  Declan is 2 and Jax is 6 months old.  For our second year in the DVC lets work towards taking home another conference championship.
