In May, kindergarten artists are creating fun self-portraits of themselves eating watermelon using paper collage. We are learning how to make personal connections to our artwork. Students will trace, cut, and glue their own shapes to build both their portrait and the watermelon. This project builds fine motor skills and encourages creative choices.
