We’re thrilled to use Artsonia in our art room! Artsonia is an online gallery where every student gets their very own digital art portfolio. Families can easily view and share their child’s artwork with loved ones near and far, making it a fun way to celebrate creativity all year long. Plus, Artsonia offers keepsakes featuring student artwork, and a portion of those sales comes right back to support our art program!

C.H.A.M.P.S
Students are expected to follow the C.H.A.M.P.S rules listed below in the art room
Students receive art grades each quarter. Kindergarteners will begin receiving grades in the second quarter.
Kindergarten–2nd Grade: Students are assessed on Art Creative Expression (how they use ideas, skills, and materials to create) and Art Effort (participation, perseverance, and willingness to try new things).
3rd–5th Grade: Students receive two separate grades — an overall Art Grade (reflecting their artistic growth, skills, and understanding) and an Art Effort Grade (showing their engagement, responsibility, and dedication to doing their best).
My goal with grading is to recognize not only the artwork created, but also the effort and creativity each student brings to the art room.
