My name is Heather Bronson and I teach 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade PA and talent development to our younger students.
When you talk to me you might hear some words pronounced slightly differently. That's because I am a transplant here in Illinois. My husband and I moved to Illinois from Canada in 2001. I trained and worked as an elementary teacher in Ontario before our move here. While in Canada, I taught 2nd Grade, 5th Grade and 6th Grade. I have been teaching at May Watts Elementary School for over 10 years. During my time at Watts, I have taught Special Education, 2nd Grade, 4th Grade and now Project Arrow.
My husband and I have 3 children, all of whom have attended or currently attend District 204 schools. My eldest graduated from Northwestern studying Computer Science (Class of 2018). My middle child graduated from Beloit College in May 2022. My youngest will be a junior at Waubonsie Valley High School this year.
Some of the things I love include reading, doing puzzles, music, my pets (3 cats who were rescued), long walks, spending time outside, and hanging out with my family.
I look forward to partnering with you this year to help your children be successful! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Heather
