About Me

I am originally from Downers Grove, IL. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Northwestern University and a second Master's degree from Olivet Nazarene University where I became a certified Reading Specialist. I began teaching in Hoffman Estates in District 15 in 1995 and then paused my career in 2001 to stay at home with my daughters. I came back to teaching in 2016 in IPSD 204 and feel lucky to now be a part of Scullen Middle School. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and cheering on the Cubs and Bears!
