Hill Middle School is delighted to welcome award-winning author Dusti Bowling for a visit on Thursday, October 9th. Ms. Bowling will talk with our 6th grade students about hercareer as an author and discuss her new book, Holding on for Dear Life.
ANY STUDENT can guarantee a personalized, autographed copy of this book. Books can be purchased in the Hill Webstore or by picking up an order from in the LMC. All orders placed by October 6th will earn an entry into a gift card raffle and students will get a chance to meet Ms. Bowling to have your book personalized and autographed.
If you miss the 10/6 purchase date, we will have a limited supply of signed books available for purchase throughOctober 16th.
Book reviews can be done online with the link below or grab a form in the LMC. Every review has a chance to qualify for a spin of the LMC PRIZE WHEEL to win books, pens, crafts, candy & much, much more.
Entry forms can be completed during ELA check outs throughout the month of October. Top three entries will win prizes.
Frightful Nights Teen Writing Contest
Calling all goblins and ghouls! Naperville Public Library's Frightful Nights Teen Writing Contest has officially begun! Teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to submit their spookiest short story or poem (in 100 words or less) from October 1st through Friday, October 24th online at THIS LINK.

Be sure to preview items & send to print from CLASS.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHROMEBOOK TO THE LMC!
Come to the LMC & type in your ID# on the printer for print release.
