Kailin Macak- Science
Hi there! My name is Kailin Macak (Kay-lin May-sac) and I have been a teacher for 15 years now and still LOVE what I do! This is my 12th year teaching 6th grade science and social studies teacher at Granger Middle School. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary Ed from Lewis University and a Masters degree in Teaching with a focus on biological sciences and inquiry-based learning from Miami University of Ohio and a Masters degree in Teacher Leadership from ACE.
Outside of work, I have a wonderful family at home. My husband is a Behavior Analyst who loves hockey, and we have 2 wonderful children. Clara (7) just started Second Grade and Owen (5) is in kindergarten. They are both pretty awesome, but I am a bit bias. :)
Looking forward to an exciting year, full of exploration and wonder!
