Good morning 5DO parents,
We will be exploring the mysteries of pumpkins through PUMPKIN SCIENCE. I sent home a paper copy explaining the activity on Wednesday. I am in of need volunteers, pumpkins, carving utensils, and tablecloths. Please fill out the google form if you are willing to help or donate any of the items.
Here is a peek into what we will be doing.
ELA: We are continuing our novel study, Naomi Leon. We will read chapters 16-20 next week.
Writing: Narrative Writing process
SEL: We will continue Second Steps, Lesson 3: Being Assertive. Here are the home links that you can discuss with your child at home.
Math- Ask your child.
Word Study- The test will be on Friday, October 20th. Every Monday I will give your child a list of words that they will need to study. I post everything that they need in Q1: Word Study Google Classroom page.
Social Studies: We will be discussing: How and Why Europeans Came to the Americas.
